In 2020, deaths by suicide were lower than in the previous three years
- h2odragon 6y agoLocally: The fellow who lost his business a year ago, walked into his ex-wife's shop and shot her and two customers, and then got gunned down by the cops; is not a suicide. One of the dead customers was a COVID death according to the news reports. I haven't checked the numbers on "fatal housefires killing elderly persons" this year but I have heard a rant on the subject from an ex-volunteer fireman. I suspect the public statistics are failing us here at the county data gathering level.
