Honey, I shrunk the Arduino core
- ncmncm 6y agoThe author points to Arduino not being a priority target for Gcc, but it took only a few months (10?) to raise enough money to fund updating its back end to compatibility with Gcc 11. Anyway, this is nice and welcome work. I wonder what are its prospects for being adopted upstream.
- londons_explore 6y agoI worry that the world has moved on from shaving a few bytes here and there into just assuming a 16 MB flash chip on an esp32 is the smallest anyone would want for a hello world...
