Wow, how does he make that ball and coin levitate. Is this a CGI prank?

  No it's not CGI. Here's another view and you can see at 7:00 he does a similar setup where there's a large ball placed on his head which he removes before doing the smaller floating ball, which gives him some excuse to touch his head.     You're definitely on to something. In both videos he touches his head and then spins the small ball. Still the execution is amazing.
