Pets are a privilege? Granted by whom? Am I seriously not free in society to own an animal without the express permission of whatever entity you look to in order to function? I don't need a coffee table to survive. Is that a privilege? Carpeted floors?I mean, indoor plumbing's kind of a modern frivolity if you think about it.
- Wowfunhappy 6y agoCoffee tables are also a privilege. If a coffee table inconveniences someone else, the coffee table owner needs to make accommodations, and not the other way around. The difference is that a coffee table rarely affects the life of anyone other than its owner.
