I can only think that modern power generation systems have failed. There are so many advances in power generation in the last 100 years - from nuclear, wind, solar, hydro, and even biothermal. Yet when I look around all there are so many dirty combustion engines and coal power plants spewing greenhouse gasses and toxic fumes. Both statements are moronic. Taking advantage of modern design philosophy, modern CDNs, modern framework - all of that takes time, attention and MONEY. If you don't put in the investment in all of these, the fact that you have access to "modern frontend development" is meaningless. It's like asking why is not everyone in the world driving Teslas.
