- xur17 6y agoHonestly, we shouldn't have to worry about publishing those, but banks like to use them as "proof of identity" for some stupid reason, so sharing them can cause problems.

- iwd33 6y agoRegardless of how widely disclosed information might be or what its owner has done with it in the past, sharing PII that doesn’t belong to you on a public forum is still doxing. Particularly when you hold it out to be your own among people who might not have that context, given the question you’re “answering”. He also learned his lesson over a decade ago, and furthering that lesson unnecessarily as you have here borders on harassment.
