It seems strange to call this a list of intellectuals and then using meme-ness as a key scoring mechanism.
This type of thing makes me worry about the intellectual narrowness of the rationalist and adjacent communities.
- the_only_law 6y agoGiven certain names on there, the easiest way to become an intellectual seems to be 1) Be famous, 2) Be outspoken 3) have a cult like following.
