High failure rate, high price, low capability, but great speeds. So the ideal setup is SSD for your OS and programs and a spinning disk for your documents?

- RyanKearney 15y agoYep that's how I do it. I just have /home mounted on another drive in my linux environment and under Windows I changed the location of my My Documents, My Music, Downloads, etc folders to a traditional drive. You could move your entire user profile over, but some apps do a lot of IO in your AppData folder so you may want to keep that on SSD.
