There are other viable better options that simply don't get exposure, or thought by pro-Bitcoiners, as they aren't financially aligned with their investment - though better because they would use blockchain but would be leveraging real life trust networks like of those of governments of democratically elected governments agreeing to use a specific system with other democratic nations.
