I think once people experience flexible/remote work minus lockdown, there’s no going back. Until then everyone sort of misses the office in a vague sense, because they miss the social aspect. Some employers are desperate to prevent their employees from seeing this by making sure they go back into the office as quickly as possible, but the secret is out in my opinion.
