How is refusing a vaccine putting anyone else at risk if the people around them are vaccinated? The popular vaccines are highly efficacious and enough to make herd immunity kick in.
I don't know how I can make you see that it is precisely this kind of talk that's scaring regular people into being anti-vax.
- sharken 6y agoAgree to disagree in this case, there is a rather large group that believes in forcing people into taking the vaccine is ok.
- evgen 6y agoThis is a classic free rider situation where the cost for the rest of us is a continuation of a deadly and costly pandemic. That is the wonderful thing about vaccine passports, you can be as anti-vax as you want and the rest of us can shun you without concern. Sounds like win-win unless you think you should have some right to free ride the risks the rest of us are accepting...
