How else would you describe it, would "spreading FUD" be more appropriate/neutral? By debunking I don't mean labeling them negatively but fact-checking the claims and showing reasonable people on the fence provable evidence to help them think for themselves based on facts and not just to blindly believe the sensationalist rumors.
