Oh, cool! I've never heard of alacritty.
I tried playing with it but it doesn't seem to recognize my control key (???) which makes a lot of things... hard. A quick google and glance through the settings didn't reveal any likely culprits, but I expect it's some macOS thing. Anyone know what's up with that?
- vulcan01 6y agoMost (all?) Alacritty commands use the command key on Mac: command+c to copy, etc. Or maybe it's something with .alacritty.yml or keybinding?
- ianthehenry 6y agoYeah, I couldn't figure it out looking through the default alacritty.yml. I'm not trying to use the normal system shortuts, but like, ctrl-d to EOF and ctrl-c to SIGINT and that sort of thing.
- petepete 6y agoNot really answering your question but you might have more luck with Kitty. Like Alacrity it's very fast but Kitty has a more features. https://sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/ https://sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/
