- tjoff 6y agoBut you can configure it. And it is quite usable even without it. The copy-buffer exist for all tmux session on the same system (tmux-server) so you can share between different panes/windows in current session as well as other sessions.
- mkhnews 6y agoExactly. Granted, I've spent some time on my tmux config, but it is just how I want it, and it's incredibly productive. I can copy to/from the clipboard/selection just fine, between windows and vim and firefox, etc. using the keyboard or mouse. I can go into copy-mode-vi (scrollback buffer) with the PageUp key or mouse wheel from the shell (not from within apps). And the added bonuses of, for example, popping a tmux window of fzf git branch output to choose from for a checkout is nice.
