Monkeys experience the visual world the same way people do
- jjk166 6y agoI think there are a few too many assumptions to conclude human-like consciousness based on this experiment, but it is still fascinating nevertheless. A simpler explanation would be that it simply takes longer exposure to make more complex connections between stimuli and learning such rules does not, on its own, require visual conscious experience in either humans or macaques.
