Some stupid plan hatched by the Trudeau Government to punish Snowbirds and bail out the Hotel Industry Never mind most of them were able to get the vaccine in the Jan while in Florida and many Canadians are still waiting and will be for months. Theater for the masses at the expense of Canadians returning from the USA.
If you're a Canadian wanting to return to Canada (Ontario/Toronto) and avoid a 2k hotel bill for 3 days, just fly to Buffalo and take a Uber to the border from the airport, walk across and have someone pick you up.
