How Bellingcat Unmasked Putin’s Assassins
- ncmncm 6y agoAmazing. Images of a rocket launcher driving west from Russia into Ukraine, burnt patches in the field of the launch site, later images of the rocket launcher being driven back to Russia with one of the rockets missing. Their archive of investigations is astonishing, relying on 3D reconstructions of scenes matched with cellphone video footage. E.g., Israeli attacks on Bedouin towns preparatory to expanding "settlements", and of the death of a French grandmother in her 4th-floor apartment, shot in the head with a tear-gas canister by a policeman at a protest rally. The absolutely reflexive lying by security forces, from top to bottom, is starkly revealed. "Their headlights were off": video shows they were on. "I wasn't there": video shows they were there.
