Emo Killings in Iraq
- aaron695 6y agoThe Emo subculture in the West is a good example of hating people just because you can. Lots of people jumped on board with no real reasons. It's what being Woke also does, but being Woke is a bit more clever it finds somewhat arbitrary reasons to hate. Evolution (due to the internet) perhaps. I would be cautious believing the Iraq story in full, it seems to simplistic and cliched Western misinformation. Before 90 killings there would be a lot of bashings, the subculture would pull back. https://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/2012/3/20/killing-emos-and-the-future-in-iraq https://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/2012/3/20/killing-emos-an... https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-17450437 https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-17450437
- Hallucinaut 6y agoEmo subculture is about hating people? Where on earth have you picked up this opinion? If anything, emo is about dealing with being hated.

- itisit 6y agoYou're not considering the multitude of emo sub-genres (ex. zombie, pan, militant, etc)
- 0dayz 6y agoSounds to me that this person thinks the goth kids in South Park was real. Emo kids were notorious for being attention seeking while being oblivious to their methods. Just like every teen fad.
