Tech workers left SF for Austin. They don't regret it

- jti107 6y agowhat's up with all the "I left CA for TX and I'm so much happier" articles lately. Silicon Valley and CA isnt for everyone. There is tons of info on what it is like to work in SV and the culture is based on hustling, grinding, getting rich and networking. If you're not into that and are not willing to work long hours then it's probably not a good fit. If you want quality of life, reasonable housing and relaxed pace then another part of the country is probably a better fit
