Ask HN: How do you deal with Google Docs?

I'm helping a project which uses it extensively, and I'm just at the end of my ropes... It is so inaccessible, I find it hard to even copy text or navigate. Many controls are not tagged as clickable. It's also extremely slow on my devices, taking a long time to load every time I make an action. Have you ever asked for accomodations for this sort of thing?
