The greats know how to recognize greats ;)
- rvz 6y ago> Jeffrey Ullman.... was the Ph.D. advisor of Sergey Brin And? What is that supposed to mean?
- chrisseaton 6y agoA PhD advisor is the academic who guides your PhD work. Sergey Brin is a co-founder of Google. They're pointing out how connected many people in computer science.
- rvz 6y ago> They're pointing out how connected many people in computer science. Your last sentence is mostly relevant to my point. The parent shouldn't be easily blinded and in awe of listing just only 'one example' and then proclaiming they're 'recognising greats'. Let's have more examples of other 'greats' connected to or even advised by Jeffrey Ullman rather than mentioning only one 'great'. Even if it is the co-founder of Google.
