How so? .NET is 2-4x faster than Scala in benchmarks (https://www.techempower.com/benchmarks/#section=data-r20&hw=ph&test=plaintext https://www.techempower.com/benchmarks/#section=data-r20&hw=...). Do you just prefer the syntax and language features?
