My problem is that I can't get a replacement battery for my broken 2014 MacBook Pro Retina 15" A1398.
Apple says it's obsolete, but my cells expanded and the replacement third-party battery I bought fried my logic board and now I don't know who to trust.
I'm trying to figure out whether swapping the cells with the original battery PCB will work, and make it not kill my GPU again.
