Apple expands Independent Repair programme to New Zealand and 39 other countries
- mikece 6y agoUntil Louis Rossmann is able to buy any part he needs to repair any Apple product, this gesture is just corporate posturing. (Seriously: if you don't know who Louis Rossmann is, look him up on YouTube... you're in for an education while being entertained!)
- peterburkimsher 6y agoMy problem is that I can't get a replacement battery for my broken 2014 MacBook Pro Retina 15" A1398. Apple says it's obsolete, but my cells expanded and the replacement third-party battery I bought fried my logic board and now I don't know who to trust. I'm trying to figure out whether swapping the cells with the original battery PCB will work, and make it not kill my GPU again.
