I just tried the app in hopes of retiring my ScanSnap S1300 from ages ago. It is remarkably snappy. Does the AI processing happen on the phone or on the cloud (Pixel 3 user) ?

It happens on both. Stack does OCR on the phone and then more complicated processing on the backend
