Used to work for an employer that was obsessed with its glassdoor rating. Negative reviews of the company were drowned out with tons of identical-sounding glowing reviews that I'm pretty sure were written by interns. We were actually "highly encouraged" during new hire orientation to go on glassdoor and leave a good review - that was the first hint I made a mistake in accepting the job. It was a pretty awful place to work.
