If You Look at Your Phone While Walking, You’re an Agent of Chaos
- gnulinux 6y agoAccording to my therapist if you look at your phone while walking, you're severely addicted and need to consider having no-screen days every once in a while.
- mrkramer 6y agoHe or she is true for example in Japan and Korea there are signs something like "do not look at mobile phone screen while you are crossing a street".
- prepend 6y agoWould like to see how common this is, seems very. Would like a CV project to try to establish prevalence. I was recently sitting on a hotel boardwalk watching the sun set over the ocean in the far distance, so still for maybe 20 minutes. Four walked by with three looking at their screen, 10 minutes later they walked by again in the opposite direction, same three looking at their phones with the same angle. It seems funny to me that they could have been walking around the whole time with their neck cricked reading whatever they were reading.
