How many times have we heard this one? How many times has it remained true in the long run?
- dormento 6y agoJust to save calories in case someone actually spends non-zero time thinking about this: it is never true. Its a "put 2 and 2 together" type thing. - Getty is a for-profit organization. - Profit means money. - Getty is lawsuit-happy. Now it is only a matter of time before Unsplash is "incredible journey'd".
- pnt12 6y agoAlmost never. The current exception nowadays seems to be Microsoft. Minecraft, npm, github seem to be doing good, and keeping their core values and strengths.
