- throwaway744678 6y agoPro of icanhazip.com is that you can curl it directly, it returns your address and nothing else; you don't have to parse the result to get the value, which is a big plus when used in a script: curl icanhazip.com curl ipv4.icanhazip.com curl ipv6.icanhazip.com
- theblazehen 6y agoYou can curl ifconfig.co as well, uses user agent sniffing to just return the IP
