You have to appreciate that we have some of the top minds of the world working on revolutionary technology with the ultimate aim of making a huge group of our population unemployed so the richest man in the world richer. And naturally this receives government funding. I know this is of cause done because it’s an easy target for robotics, and proves a value stream. But you still have to wonder just how big of a societal change we could achieve if these efforts where target at empowering and improving the lives of the masses instead of removing the “annoyance” of having to pay minimum wage workers as part of the costs of huge insanely profitable corporations.
