You'd be better off in the UK.
- tibbydudeza 6y agoOnly if you have millions , they are definitely not interested in poor HK folk that are living in cage homes.
- hardlianotion 6y agoThe criterion is to hold a BNO passport. You don't have to be a millionaire for that. Three million Hong Kongers are eligible.
- tibbydudeza 6y agoThere were 6.489 million people in Hong Kong when it reverted back to China , they should have given everybody that before they left.

- TakuYam 6y agoWasn’t the offer PM Johnson made to HKer’s without any wealth/asset caveats?
- tibbydudeza 6y agoIt seems to be a moot point now - China simply refused to recognize a BNO passport as a legal document so you can't leave.

- woutr_be 6y agoMost BNO holders also hold either a HK passport or HKID, making it possible to leave in either way. China (and HK) not recognizing the BNO passport doesn't really change much for most people. I do believe there was a story here lately about some people only holding a BNO passport, not sure how that would work out for them.

- xwolfi 6y agoI'm also French, so I'd rather starve in a chinese goulag than eat carrott sandwiches under the rain in London
