- rantwasp 6y agonot sure if this is sarcasm or not, but not knowing what a medicine does is a plus in my book. you have no use for it.
- jhayward 6y agoIt has also been withdrawn from the market.
- dragonwriter 6y agoMany (but not, I think, all—there keep being new announcements) individual makers have extended-release metformin have recalled recent batches and at least temporarily stopped selling it due to detected unacceptable levels of a known carcinogen in the tablets.

- stevegalla 6y agoWow, I keep hearing people like Tim Ferris and Dr. Peter Attia talking about using Metformin. I had no idea it is a diabetes medication. - anonfornoreason 6y agoIt’s commonly prescribed as an anti-aging drug, which is maybe what the OP meant, though I can laugh either way!
