Free Software Foundation leaders and supporters desert sinking ship
- techmememe 6y agoLet the corporations pull out, the grass roots is rising up. https://rms-support-letter.github.io/ https://rms-support-letter.github.io/
- CrankyBear 6y agoYou did see the FSF executive director and two board members giving their notice right?
- buisi 6y agoTo be fair, I can imagine these being the people who voted against him being reinstated, so they've just ended up consolidating his control over the FSF.
- buisi 6y agoIt looks like the media + detractors still don't understand the Streissand Effect. The petition for RMS is accelerating, the one against was ahead a few days ago. The more they speak, the more unreasonable they act by shouting to fire all the board members, the more they shout to shut down the FSF, the more they focus on him having wrong opinions, the more unreasonable they make themselves look.
