Imo Bitcoin will eventually be outlawed because it will be competition to the banks' coins. When banks make a crypto coin that is ready for public consumption then they will come down hard on Bitcoin.
- simonh 6y agoExcept bitcoin isn't actually used as a currency, it's only really used as an asset. As such it's not in competition with anything functionally, because it has no significant functional utility outside it's asset value.
- dkjaudyeqooe 6y agoYou're confusing econdings with what they represent. For instance, the EBC doesn't care about BTC because they're not euros and never will be.
