Live video stream from Iceland volcano
- rdxm 6y agosooo cool.....
- underseacables 6y agoThat is amazing and strikingly beautiful.
- mhandley 6y agoThere's also this view which has been online for a while: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BA-9QzIcr3c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BA-9QzIcr3c So nice to have a live view of a volcano on my second screen while working and watch it change from day to day.
- ChrisArchitect 6y agoPretty neat. Curious how hot is it this close though? How does the equipment not feel the effect? Wind keeps it cool? I wondered about how that drone guy got his flyover too. Also, anyone can just drop a camera there and hope that no one moves it etc? Shouldn't we be able to see this camera maybe on the other feed (might be just out of view)

- mikesabbagh 6y agoNice view with sound. It would be nice to get some perspective of how large that is compared to a man or a car
- mr_woozy 6y agoI was there last sunday, you can see from comparing it from the other camera setup from RUV (National state Broadcast). the main fissure is about 50m high 30-40 across currently. There's a timelapse where you can compare during daytime to people visiting the site.

- mr_woozy 6y agoalso if anyone wants to donate to our rescue services they can be found at https://www.rescue.is/ https://www.rescue.is/ It's all volunteer based and non-for-profit and helps keeps sites like this eruption safe for all visitors.
- technick 6y agoThis could be the best volcano live stream I've ever seen. The coverage from Hawaii wasn't even close to this quality.
- riggsdk 6y agoLooking forward to the eventual timelapse compilations. Seeing nature in fast-forward makes me feel so much in awe of how much is actually going on in the world.
- mr_woozy 6y agohere you go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zymINXCAMw0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zymINXCAMw0
