- gnicholas 6y agoI worked with a lawyer who I would redline “utilize” anywhere it appeared in a document. I pointed out that it has a slightly different meaning than “use”, in that it implies ingenuity or unexpected use. He ended up agreeing that it could be used (not utilized!), but only rarely.
