Show HN: A cyberpunk theme for Python desktop applications
- alexrustic 6y agoHi HN ! I am happy to showcase tk-cyberpunk-theme. I created Pyrustic Framework [1] [2] to make it easy to develop Python desktop applications. Pyrustic has a mechanism that allows you to create a theme separately like a library. My goal is to empower people to produce themes that others will want to consume. Theme creation doesn't require learning a new language, it's just plain old Python code. This project is a work in progress, I will write a guide on how to create a theme later. I look forward to reading your feedback [3]. - jdsleppy 6y agoI just dug through the whole Pyrustic/Hubspot ecosystem, and it's cool! I haven't looked at GUI dev in Python before. I wonder if there's an simple way to reduce the already easy HubSpot install to a layman-friendly "double-click this". I'll be on the lookout for a reason to use this.
- alexrustic 6y agoThanks for your feedback ! Indeed it would be interesting to allow users to double-click a Hubstore executable. I'll probably find a way to implement it before the stable 1.0 release.
