Ask HN: How to help artists in a context where concerts are not allowed

Hi, I have a lot of friends who happen to be musicians, poets, writers, or theatre actors. The pandemic has frankly killed their ability to make a living where I live, as there are no concerts and the economic circumstances are dire. I have tried to support as many people as my personal finances could withstand, but this does not scale. I'm in Algiers, Algeria. Electronic payments barely works. I'm thinking of ways they could produce content and sell it on creator platforms for a more viable and scalable solution. Do you have solutions or ways that have worked well for you? Were you able to generalize to other categories? I'm asking so I would not reinvent the wheel. Thank you,
