People talk about the lump of labor fallacy but never the lump of real estate fallacy. It is as though land were a finite resource. I know that’s a deeply unpopular opinion.
- swiley 6y agoIt would be a valid opinion if we actually used the land but in most places you barely have medium density housing. We have a room shortage not a land shortage.
- Wohlf 6y agoLand is a finite resource but we still have plenty of that, location of the land is a very finite resource. Housing is very affordable in much of the country, just not in the most desirable cities.
