Was at a company like that, no negotiation, take it or leave it. Turns out executives and desirable engineers/UX got to negotiate. Those that came in believing they hype were indispensable, plenty of 5-star glass door reviews about being transparent and fair.
- teachrdan 6y agoGitHub got in trouble for this. When it was revealed that there were extreme disparities in pay across employees at the same level--particularly between men and women with the same job description--they adjusted salaries up by as much as $40K a year.
