I believe this article could be more effective and less politically oriented if there were more specifics about how US primacy is different from British primacy 100+ years ago, for example. History shows that “empires” come and go—and their hegemony is always under some sort of attack-so there is nothing new about that dynamic. Something will change, and there will be a new empire. And we will all throw stones at them, I’m sure.
