Philips sells home appliance division to Chinese firm for €4.4B
- MikeUt 6y ago> Hillhouse Capital is paying 3.7 billion euros for the branch itself, and another around 700 million to be able to continue putting the Philips name on the products for the next 15 years. At what point does this become deceiving consumers? Yes it's their brand to do with as they please, but do we not deserve to know who we are doing business with?
