This is interesting, and I like it I'm gonna leave it in its current default behavior because I believe that it has a strong impact on ease of onboarding to just see what you did without explicitly requesting it. But, I think I'm going to make this a configurable option, so that you can have the thing you wanted, and I may even start working this way myself (gonna have to try it and see how it feels.)
