The concepts seem _very_ close, yet there is no reference in the article. Shouldn't these agents align globally, or am I missing some significant differences?
- Kaibeezy 6y agoThey are generally the same thing, with flexibility for local conditions and preferences. In my opinion, the most compelling expression of the idea is found in the work of New Urbanist architect and planner Leon Krier. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Léon_Krier https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Léon_Krier Merely scrolling through the Google image search results for Krier will provide an excellent introduction, as the concepts are so user-friendly. These are the neighborhoods I’ve always looked for, and there are some.
