Does a case of top-notch Bordeaux taste different after being in Space?
- sneak 6y agoI'd think that the control bottles on Earth would have had to have gone through similar vibration/orientation changes to make this a meaningful comparison. It's possible you could get the same "space" results (if they're deemed "better") by shaking Earth-resident bottles up periodically. Also, there's no mention of a double-blind test to see if they're actually distinguishable by taste. Without that, this article's content is meaningless, as the bias involved in wine tasting is huge and well documented.
