The mainframe/mini battle was the 70s. More importantly it was IBM and the BUNCH vs DEC/DG/etc.
- monocasa 6y agoMicros were still viewed as toys by mainframe and mini manufacturers in the 80s. It wouldn't be until the 90s that micros started punching above their tiny weight.
