One of the Zodiac's letters contains a short 13-character cypher that he claims is his name:

Given what we know of his methods, you'd think it would be possible to brute force this by now?
- Edman274 6y agoThat's half the unicity distance of English for even very simple monoalphabetic substitution ciphers. It's probably impossible even in theory to decode that using any amount of computing power.
