I bought a Pine Phone. I want a Linux phone. I don't want "open-source iOS", whatever that is. I don't care about that kind of "polish", I want access to (a good portion of) the same "Linux software library" that I use on my Linux laptops, VMs and Raspberry Pis. Plus it's nice to be able to make a phone call from it or take a photo occasionally.

Some polish would help. Ubuntu phone OS is just awful. The first thing I did was starting to check what else is available. That is not a step a typical use is willing to make. And sadly, pine is still not my daily driver. At this time, it is a toy. I want control over my devices, so linux phone is not a bad idea. We keep missing on execution though.
