He applied for a visa that was approved in December 2019, indicating a visit to the U.S. He took the trip more than a year later and was taken into custody on January 11, unaware of the outstanding arrest warrant." It makes it sound for a moment like his brother got arrested. In fact, he applied for a Visa in order to visit his brother in NY.
