People who are used to it are mostly power users generating content for reddit and their subs. It's absolutely reddits right to ignore their preferences but also at their peril.
Reddit is precariously close to doing a 'Digg'.
- Mountain_Skies 6y agoDigg had Reddit waiting in the wings to take advantage of their missteps. While other Reddit-like sites exist, none of them seem to be capable or even desire to be the next Reddit. The opportunity is certainly there but there's little interest most likely because Reddit has no good path to profitability. Anyone who invests in a Reddit killer would need to do it for reasons other than monetary.
- smegger001 6y agothe only people wanting to be reddit are filled with political extremist, racist, fascist, and anarcho libertarians.
- roguas 6y agonot personally triggered, but putting side by side racist, fascist and ancap is a little unfair?
